4parks 4days. 4/3-4/6/13 Port Orleans Riverside 1st 2nights and last 2 at AKL. Trying to find some info on making a plan of attack for what park to go to on the give day.. Are there some sort of STANDBY status for sit down dining since they are booked?

    HI Brian!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You are going to Walt Disney World during a busy time of the year so be prepared for crowds.  I would suggest an itinerary like the following:
    • April 3rd:  Epcot
    • April 4th:  Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • April 5th:  Magic Kingdom
    • April 6th:  Disney's Animal Kingdom
You could switch the Magic Kingdom to the last day if you would like that to be your last park; many guests like making that their first park or their last park during a visit.  To help with the crowds, you might want to visit the independent website TouringPlans.com.  They have touring plans to help manage the crowds, which are basically step by step instructions on how to experience the attractions.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  I am a huge fan of their work.

You can try walking up to a Table Service restaurant; some restaurant will take walk ups, especially the non-Character Dining restaurants in the various resort hotels.  I suggest trying to walk up just before or just after peak dining time; in other words, don't try to walk up for lunch right at Noon.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
