what can you do in the parks if there is alot of rain? I have never been, have a 1 and 3 yr old, and am travelling this week, forecast is thundershowers and rain. Thanks for the advice.

That does happen, and often it seems.  Sometimes it will rain on one side of the park but not the other.  So, here's what we do, if we can catch a show, or go to an inside attraction we will.  If its around a meal time we find a table service restaurant that has an indoor sitting area.

If its an all day rain, if you go to Hollywood Studios, most not all but most of the attractions are inside.

Epcot: There is a lot of walking, and in the rain, it can be a recipe for disaster.

Magic Kingdom:  Many rides are outdoors.

Downtown Disney:  You can shop. Disney Quest is there, but its mayhem when there is rain, because everyone seems to come to play video games, and it seems overcrowded.

We also have been guilty of hopping on the monorail and riding it for a few  rounds, it will run unless there is significant weather conditions that would prevent it from running.  If we get off, we will stop at the Contemporary or the Grand Floridian.  It passes time. There's always naps.  Heather M.
