    Vicente from ME Asked

Can I use my park tickets a day prior to my check in date at the pop century?

    Hey Vicente-

The beauty of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package is that you can use the magic … your way. When you purchase a vacation package you have three main dates. 1. Check in, 2. Check out and 3. 14 days from your first use of your theme park tickets. The first two are related to your hotel and the third is the amount of days you have to use your Magic Your Way tickets before they expire after their first use.

All tickets purchased within your Disney Vacation Package must be activated first at your resort front desk. You may only use them on the check in date or later.

Here are my suggestions. 1. Purchase your Magic Your Way Vacation Package as just hotel with or without a Disney Dining Plan and purchase your tickets separately. This will allow you to use you theme park tickets any time you want before your check in date. 2. Purchase an additional ticket outside of your package for your trip. Personally, I would do option 1 because it will be less expensive.

In February 2014, on a last minute trip to get out of Atlanta due to a snow storm, we made reservations at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. We love the Hippy Dippy Pool, the giant building icons such as the Big Wheel and the retro games like Twister that you can enjoy as you explore the resort. There is a sidewalk around Hourglass Lake with signs posting interesting facts about special events that happened in the 1950s - 1990s. If you have time, stroll over Generations Gap bridge to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for even more magic.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
