We have a Park Hopper pass. I would like to know some healthy food options available in each park. Thank you!

    Hi, Rachel!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's actually very easy to find healthful menu choices at the Disney theme parks and resorts! Disney has expanded the healthy food options on their menus for all Guests, and many snack carts throughout the parks offer fresh fruit, nuts and cut vegetables. Back in 2006, Disney announced Nutritional Guidelines to help parents and children choose healthier eating options. These options encourage low-fat, nutritionally-dense foods with limited calories, fat, saturated fat, sugar and sodium.

Then in 2012 Disney took this program a step further by introducing the "Mickey Check", a tool that makes it easier for kids and their parents to identify healthier food choices while on vacation at Disney Parks. I would suggest checking out your dining options prior to your arrival to identify which restaurants appeal to you most in each park. You can view the Walt Disney World quick-service and table-service restaurant menus by following the highlighted Mickey Check link above.  To read more about the Mickey Check, click on this link to the Disney Parks Blog article, "Mickey Check Debuts on Quick-Service Menus at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort."

I hope this helps, Rachel! Unfortunately, my response space is limited here. After you've had a chance to look at the restaurant menus, if you'd like specific recommendations for dining locations in the parks, just send me a follow-up question and I'd be happy to help!
