Can Park Hopper Option be added later?

    Hi there, Marilyn!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'd be happy to assist you in planning your Disneyland Resort vacation.

You are always more than welcome to upgrade your park ticket before or during your trip, while the ticket is still valid. You can upgrade to a Park Hopper ticket from a 1 Park Per Day ticket, upgrade to a ticket of longer duration, and even upgrade to a Disneyland Resort Annual Passport. This can be done during your trip at any of the Main Entrance ticket booths between the parks where you will just need to pay the price difference between your new and old ticket. Keep in mind, though, that if you choose to add the Park Hopper option to your multi-day ticket, it is the same price to upgrade on the first day of versus the last day of your ticket, so if you are considering park hopping, I would upgrade sooner than later. With Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park only footsteps apart, I always advise park hopping, because it is so simple to get between the theme parks.

If you plan on adding Disney MaxPass to your ticket while you are park hopping, you can conveniently make selections for one theme park while you are physically in the other. It is incredibly convenient to, for example, make a FASTPASS selection for Radiator Springs Racers while standing in line at Splash Mountain. This will save you so much time, and give you the ability to truly maximize your days in the parks.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
