    Leigh Asked

Hi! My parents and I are taking my daughter, who will be 5, on a week long vacation to Disney World in mid March. We will visit MK 2 of those days. Would it be practical to do character meet and greets on day 1 and more rides and attractions on day 2?

    Hi Leigh!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World!

You may want to align your days at Walt Disney World more evenly among character meet and greets and attractions.

Waiting in line to meet the characters can get hot and boring. My kids love meeting the charaters, but it can get tiring to meet characer after character without a break.

I suggest breaking up your day into segments. For example, arrive at Magic Kingdom early and head straight for the attractions you want to ride the most, such as Buzz Lightyear's Spaceranger Spin and Enchanted Tales with Belle. After enjoying the attractions, plan to meet the characters for a few hours in the mid-morning, before it gets too hot. Then enjoy lunch and more attractions. Plan to meet more characters in the early evening. This will allow you to experience a little of everything throughout the day.

    Magically,
    Stacy
