My parents are "snowbirds" and live for six months in La Quinta. They have Oregon licenses & own their Cali home. Can they bring a copy of say, a utility bill to get resident ticket prices or is the only form of ID valid a drivers license?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amber! I would sure love to escape winter myself sometimes and spend half the year in California, especially if it meant visiting the Disneyland Resort more often!

As you know, the SoCal Residents ticket offer is only available to California residents who reside within ZIP codes 90000-93599 and Northern Baja California residents within ZIP codes 21000-22999. Proof of residency is required for purchase and for admission into the parks. At this time, only a valid state of California ID or driver's license is accepted as proof of residency.

The Disneyland Resort does offer other discounts and promotions from time to time in which you or your parents may be interested. Or since they do spend half the year in California, they might want to consider becoming Annual Passport holders. There are many levels to choose from and Passholders receive special perks like discounts on select dining and merchandise.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a magical day!
