My parents are retired military and would like to purchase our tickets for us. However, they will not be joining us on the trip. If the tickets can be linked to the reservation, do the tickets still have to be activated?

    Hi Jamie,

Whether or not your parents would need to be present is dependent on the type of tickets they're purchasing. If they're purchasing the Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets, they would need to be present in order to activate the tickets, even if the voucher numbers are linked in

If your parents purchase standard discounted tickets at their local MWR/ITT office, they would not need to be present as the standard discounted tickets do not need to be activated. These tickets do not offer as large of a discount as the Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets, but you would not need to worry about the activation process.

I hope this helps, Jamie. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions regarding military discounts or any other part of planning your vacation. We're always hEAR to help!

    Have a magical day,
