My parents and I plan on coming October 2011, when is the best time to come in October? I would like to come around the 19th, but is that a good time in the month? Also how much are tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party?

    Hi Meg,

I think anytime is October is a good time to visit the Walt Disney World Resorts. It is personally my favorite month to go!

In October, you have the International Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT. Here you can experience delicious foods and drinks from over 20 countries in the world. In addition, there are special concerts and dining events. Truly a fun event!

You also have Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom. While I do not know the pricing for next year's event they average around $60 a person. My family likes to relax at our pool or shop at Downtown Disney before heading over to this event in the evening. With smaller crowds and lots of candy, this makes for a special treat at Halloween plus you get to wear your costume if you want.

Finally, October has low humidity and low crowds which is a perfect combination for seeing more!

    Happy Halloween!
