Hello, I have a parade dining package booked for 12/26 at 12:00 p.m. The online calendar shows that Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will run at 12:00 and 3:30 p.m. Do I get to choose which time slot for the VIP viewing voucher? Thank you!

Hello Rebecca, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season. You will feel like royalty when you view Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade from the VIP viewing area. This parade is a favorite with my family just because of all the childhood holiday memories I relive while watching it.

I did some research and discovered that parade viewing dining packages already have pre-set viewing times. Since you have a dining reservation for noon, you will dine at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and after you have finished your scrumptious meal, you will be given a pass to enter the VIP viewing area. The scheduled viewing time for you to enjoy this VIP experience will be during the 3:30 p.m. parade. Your VIP viewing voucher is only good on the day’s this parade will be shown and a valid theme park admission is still required. In the event of the parade being canceled due to weather, your dining experience will still take place and VIP viewing will be made available for an alternate parade within 5 days of your originally scheduled event. Entertainment schedules are always subject to change or cancellation without notice, so please see a Cast Member for assistance. I still love the idea of taking advantage of this dining package because you have a great spot reserved to view this magical parade without spending your valuable time holding that spot. You may even have time to squeeze a FastPass+ experience in your schedule.

    Happy holidays,
    Andrea
