Are paper fast passes still available for the rides if you don't want to purchase the Max Pass option? Is the Max Pass really much of an advantage vs. paper fast passes? Are their table service places to eat in the parks that serve steak@good price?

Hello, Mark! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your questions!

The traditional Disney FASTPASS Service is still available at the Disneyland Resort and is included with your theme park admission. However, it may work a little differently than when you last visited. You will still visit a distribution kiosk for the attraction you want to ride, insert your theme park ticket, and a FASTPASS reminder ticket will be distributed. When it’s time to ride, though, you will scan your theme park ticket at the touchpoints at the queue entrance.

Using FASTPASS is a great way to save time, but to maximize your efficiency even further I absolutely recommend purchasing Disney MaxPass. You can select FASTPASSES quickly and easily on your mobile device and if you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can select FASTPASSES for either park no matter which park you are currently enjoying. Plus, if you pay attention to the time when you can select your next FASTPASS, it’s possible to have two or more FASTPASSES selected at one time. Oh, and don’t forget, downloads of all your PhotoPass photos are included on any day that you use MaxPass. It is 100 percent worth the added fee, in my opinion!

When it comes to a nice steak dinner, it doesn’t get much better than the options at Blue Bayou Restaurant and Carthay Circle Restaurant. But for a more budget-friendly option, Café Orleans in Disneyland Park offers a steak and potatoes entrée for just $24. For these and any other table service restaurant, I suggest making reservations in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463.

I hope this helps. See ya real soon!
