Panning a trip to WDW for Nov. 2016. Just wondering if you could tell me when a good date would be that the Christmas Decorations are all up

    Hello Peggy,

Great choice!  The holidays at Walt Disney World really ARE the most wonderful time of the year!

Christmas decorations generally start to appear around the second week of November, with the theme parks and resorts fully decked out by Thanksgiving.  The decorations will stay up until just after New Year's Day and then slowly come down in the weeks that follow.  In terms of the best time to visit to see the decorations and get to fully experience the extra magic of the holidays, anytime between Thanksgiving and Christmas would be great.  The lowest crowds during that time are usually the three weeks after Thanksgiving, so those are definitely my recommendation if the timing works for you.

While you're there,  you won't want to miss the life-size gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the Holiday Carousel at Disney's Beach Club Resort...and if you're making a list - and checking it twice - check out the displays at the other Disney Resort hotels, too.  Last year, a new "Frozen" gingerbread ice castle debuted at Disney's Contemporary Resort and a life-size version of a Jersey Shore concession stand was set up at Disney's BoardWalk Inn.

Wishing you a holly-jolly good time, Peggy!  If we can help answer any other questions as you make your pixie-dusted plans, please stop by again.  We'd love to hear from you!
