In a panic - bringing granddaughters 7 and 4 (with their mom) Dec 27 - Jan 2 - which Resort would you recommend - the Caribbean or the Coronado - I just can't decide - of course, because of their age we'll be at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Thanks

Hello Sharon!  No need to panic.  Both resorts are great in there own ways, you really can't make a bad choice.

My family and I happen to be big fans of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  We stay there quite often and really love it.  My daughter is 7 and it is also her favorite resort.  Our experience has always been a great one from the second we arrive.  The Cast Members are always so friendly and it really sets the tone for a great vacation.  We love the look and feel of the resort with lush tropical plants everywhere and soft colors, you really do feel like you are in the Caribbean.  The rooms are a soft Nemo theme but not over the top.  The rooms also feel more spacious than some of the others we have stayed in, which would be great for the 4 of you.  If you are interested in using the pool, it is just fabulous.  My daughter loves the water slides and when she was younger, she loved the kiddie splash pad with mini water slides and a tub of water that tips at a moments notice.  We also really enjoy the food court and the food that is offered there.  Kids really like that the kids meals are served to them in a sand pail, complete with a small shovel!

Either resort you choose, I think you will love.  But from my experience, we love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort just a little bit more.  Have a great vacation and if I can help you with anything else, please feel free to let me know.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
