Hi Panel Our family is coming to Disney World in May. Check out is at 11 am and our plane doesn't take off until 9:30 pm What is the best way to use the time until we get picked up to go to the airport?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dan!

We often schedule our return flights as late as possible, so we can take in as much magic as we can during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. On the day of your departure, Bell Services will be happy to store your luggage for you until you are ready to depart your Disney Resort hotel later that day. If you are flying with a participating airline, you can also take advantage of the complimentary Resort Airline Check-in Service. You can check-in for your flight, get your boarding passes and check your luggage right at the Airline Check-In desk at your resort. Then you can make your way right to the security check point area once you arrive at Orlando International Airport.

Here is the most important part of your departure day-how will you spend those precious hours from check out till your flight? You could spend your day riding your favorite attractions, tour Disney Resort hotels on the Resort Monorail or enjoy the shopping, entertainment and restaurants at Disney Springs. If you are looking for some adventure, consider Sammy Duvall's - Personal Watercraft Rentals to explore Seven Seas Lagoon. Or maybe you prefer a more relaxing day by enjoying your Disney Resort hotel's swimming pool.

As you plan your day, keep in mind that if you are utilizing Disney's Magical Express, the motor coach will pick you up typically 3 hours prior for domestic flights and 4 hours for international. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!

    Happy Planning!
