What are each of the panelist's suggestions for Disney Magic outside the parks? It will be our daughters (2 & 3) 1st visit to WDW. We can only afford 2 days but the rest of our family bought 5-day tickets and I don't want them to feel left out.

Hi, Jen!  There are plenty of things to do to keep your little ones basking in the Disney Magic without being inside the theme parks.  The first thing to do is to check and see if your resort has any activities planned.  Often, the individual resorts will have games or activities by the pool or in the lobby that children can participate in.  There are even some craft activities on occasion, which gives your kids an extra little souvenir to take home!

Downtown Disney is usually a great place to spend some time.  Depending on when you go, you might find holiday happenings, musical entertainment, or even a special event, like this past weekend's Festival of the Masters.  There were quite a few fun activities for children to do during this weekend's event, in addition to the Lego playground and a visit to Once Upon a Toy, which is always fun for my kids, even when we don't buy something!

The pool is another great way to spend some time, and while you don't mention which resort you are staying in during your visit, you'll find some of the resorts have areas specifically designated for the kids to enjoy.

Spend an evening on the beach at the Polynesian Resort, where you can enjoy the Electric Water Pageant and watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.  Or check out the Boardwalk area where you might be able to see some of Illuminations from EPCOT while you enjoy the Boardwalk performers (these vary, but we've seen magicians, jugglers, and other similar types of kid friendly performers).

I don't think the girls will feel for a minute like they're missing out on the magic.  There are fun things to do all over the "World"!
