Hello Panel, I'm planning our 1st visit to WDW with husband, a 2 yo boy and 4 yo girl. On our first day we have a reservation for Cinderella's lunch inside the Castle at 12:05 and for the MVMCP. Suggestions on how to organize our day? Thank you!

    Hi Maria,

You're off to a great start planning your first day at Walt Disney World. I would suggest arriving at Magic Kingdom Park at opening and doing some of your absolute must-do attractions first thing in the morning using FastPass+. Enjoy your royal lunch with Cinderella and then head back to your resort for naps and rest time, this way the kids have some down time before the merry fun begins that evening.

I would grab an early dinner at your resort food court before returning to Magic Kingdom Park for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You can take the party at a more leisurely pace and try to experience any attractions you may have missed in the morning. You won't need to spend party time sitting down for dinner and can snack on delicious cookies and hot cocoa as you enjoy the party festivities. With younger children, I suggest viewing the first parade in case you need to call it a night early.

Have a very merry time, Maria. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
