Hi Panel! I was wondering if you use the fastpass+ option can you still use the regular fast passes for the attractions you don't use the plus option for? We got picked for the test for our upcoming September visit and everyone is not sure if we should try

Hi Jennifer! You must be very excited about your upcoming Disney vacation and then top it off to be chosen to help test the new technology!

If you choose  your fastpass options as part of the test program you will not be able to secure any extra fastpasses in the parks. Right now they are asking you to decide one way or the other as they test.  I think you will find planning your day before you go to be a great use of your time in the parks. No longer will you have to rush with all the park tickets for your group to secure the fastpasses at the attractions. You will all have a preset time and can go about the tour in a leisurely way enjoying some of the park entertainment or other fun things. It ultimately is the way the vacation planning is heading and I think this is an excellent time to test it out with your family or group.

I just noted in another answer that the resorts will have cast members who can assist you as well as kiosks in the parks if you have questions. As you plan and select your fastpasses on line you can also phone for assistance if necessary. Enjoy and most important, have fun!
