Hi Panel! We are going to WDW 6/8-6/14. We are excited that special Star Wars character dining has been added during the week and wondered if there will be other special Star Wars activities during the week, too? We want to avoid HS on weekends! Thanks!

    Hi Marcy ~

I LOVE Star Wars Weekends (SWW) and I'm super excited about this year! I am over the Death Star (well if it had not been destroyed) excited to see Mark Hamill during SWW IV! However, if you are not a Star Wars fan, it is smart to avoid Disney's Hollywood Studios on SWW event days.

The 2014 SWWs will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday May 16th - June 15th, 2014. So far the only special Star Wars related events planned Monday - Thursday are the Star Wars Character meals. These special character dining events will be held May 4th - June 15th, 2014. They look amazing and I can not wait!

Of course there are other Star Wars related attractions at Hollywood Studios available throughout the year including:
    * Jedi Training Academy - the ultimate experience for young Padawans!
    * Star Tours - The Adventure Continues
    * Visit Tatooine Traders located next to Star Tours to find awesome Star Wars merchandise, build your own lightsabers and Droids. You can also do this at Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney.
    * There is a great photo op location just across from Tatooine Traders.

Having said all of this, it seems that Disney is changing things up a bit this year so stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for new information to be released and the event website If you are on twitter be sure to follow #DisneyTheForce.

Please feel free to visit us with any other questions. It is our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
