Hi Moms Panel. We will be at WDW Dec 9-16. My mom and I will be taking my daughters (3, 6) and my niece (11) on their first vacation to someplace special. Any ideas what to do? We have a 5 day hopper. The last vacation I took (1982) was to WDW. Thanks.

Hi, Sherry!  I hope they are thrilled with this magical vacation!  You'll have so much to do with the four theme parks, so you may want to make a list of attractions that are most important.  At the Magic Kingdom, you'll probably want to spend some time in the new Fantasyland, where the girls can enjoy attractions that feature Dumbo, Ariel, and Winnie the Pooh, and then most kids I know love Buzz Lightyear, an interactive attraction that is bright and fun!

Take some time at Animal Kingdom to visit Rafiki's Planet Watch.  There are some hands on activities and a chance to see veterinarians actually treating some of the animals.  It's really a unique experience.  My girls have always loved Kilimanjaro Safari, which gives you an amazing look at some of the animals.

Make sure to check out Disney Junior live on stage if your girls are fans of the shows.  You'll find this among the attractions at Hollywood Studios.  Another must do for us is Toy Story Midway Mania, and you'll want to get a Fast Pass for that as soon as you can.  It gets busy!

When you arrive, check out some of the character meet and greets so you can plan when you'd like to go see some of their favorites.  Also, you can make your dining reservations 180 days in advance, and if you want to do a character meal, you'll want to do that as soon as your 180 day window opens up.  There are some character meals that will book completely, and you don't want to miss your chance for some of their favorites!

I hope this vacation provides many magical memories for your family!
