Hello Panel trying to decide betweewn Bay lake Towers and Grand Floridrian. Traveling with DD 6 and niece 14 will be spending alot of time at MK.

Hi Yolonda!  The absolute most magical resort at Walt Disney World is the Grand Floridian!  When you walk into the lobby area you will feel like you have gone back in time to a regal and elegant victorian time. The grounds are beautiful and the resort includes all the fine things that a deluxe Disney resort can offer.  You will even find an incredible yacht docked at the marina that is available for guests to rent during their stay!

The Grand Floridian resort is the number one choice for many Disney guests.  It is located on the monorail making the Magic Kingdom an easy one stop away.  You also have the choice to take a boat to the park which gives you two options for transportation.

Bay Lake Towers is located next to the Contemporary resort.  The benefits to this choice is that you would have some added kitchen appliances such as microwaves in the studios to complete kitchens in the larger rooms. This is a great option if you wish to cook meals during your stay.  The other positive for this location is that you can walk a short distance to the Magic Kingdom. Although the Towers are connected to the Contemporary resort which is on the monorail you would need to make the complete circle around to reach the Magic Kingdom.  The Towers share all the bus transportation with the Contemporary and thus you need to walk the distance to the Contemporary bus area.

Unless cooking is very important during your stay my choice would definitely be the Grand Floridian for your vacation resort!
