    Hi Laura!

So much food...so little time!  The Deluxe Dining Plan definitely gives you a ton of dining options.  Here are a few suggestions for getting your money's worth.

Make a few reservations at some of Disney's Signature Dining Restaurants.  These are the fine dining establishments on property.  Don't worry that your better half is five years old.  At Disney, everyone can be comfortable at any type of restaurant.  In fact, my kids think that the children's menus at the Signature Restaurants "rock".  At one, my kids actually got a chocolate "puzzle" that they had to assemble, and then "paint" with strawberry, chocolate and pineapple sauce.  How cool is that!  Each Signature reservation will require two table service credits per person, which will help "use up" some credits.  Some of our favorites are Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge, California Grille at the Contemporary, Flying Fish Cafe  at the Boardwalk and Citricos at the Grand Floridian.

Another option is to use your credits for a dinner show.  Mickey's Backyard BBQ is a great choice for a five year old.  The evening features a Country Western-style band, Mickey, Minnie and some other pals who invite the audience to dance along with them the entire night.  The Spirit of Aloha Show is another good option.  This is a Hawaiian-style luau.  My kids absolutely love the fire eater.  The dinner shows also require two meal credits.

Finally, remember that you can use your credits at both Table Service (sit down) and Counter Service restaurants.  You don't need reservations at counter service restaurants, and these work great when you are in the parks and aren't sure exactly what time you plan to eat.

I hope some of my ideas help you "spend" your credits!  Have a wonderful vacation!
