Hi. Your panel is terrific. I am wondering if there are restrictions for bringing food (such as ice cream) into lines as long as you have it completed it prior to boarding the ride?

Welcome back, Karen, it’s great to see you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this yummy question!

I, in my travel party, seem to always be the one holding an ice-cream cone, luscious cupcake, or delicious Dole Whip, just as everyone is ready to enter an attraction. I have encountered Cast Members at attractions who have politely and empathetically asked me to enjoy my snack in a more comfortable setting and then return when finished, and, other times, if I’m near the end of my snack, I have had no trouble polishing it off as I wait in line. For the sake of certainty, I would recommend you enjoy your snack in comfort at one of many cozy outdoor tables, and then enter the attraction queue – just to be on the safe side.

Karen, don’t forget those Disney Dining Reservations at your favorite Disney Character and Table-Service venues. As well, be sure to customize all your plans with My Disney Experience to be sure you’ve optimized your touring experience to enjoy as many Walt Disney World Resort adventures as possible!

We hope this information is helpful, Karen, we wish you many delicious Disney snacking experiences and a most magical Disney vacation!
