Hi Panel, I have read & heard about resorts having special evening activities, such as movie watching, marshmallow roasting ect... I was wondering if you can tell me if the Poly Resort does anything like this?

The Torch Lighting Ceremony is a short program held at the Polynesian Resort at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday evenings. There will be a traditional Polynesian dancer and the torches heading towards the Great Ceremonial House will be lit.

The Electrical Water Pageant can be seen at approximately 9 p.m. most evenings. We’ve enjoyed watching from lounge chairs on the beach. This is a great spot to watch the Wishes fireworks display as well. One of my favorite memories is swimming with my family in the Nanea Volcano pool during the fireworks. Magical!

Note that both of these activities may be canceled due to inclement weather.

Also, the Spirit of Aloha dinner show will immerse you in the Polynesian atmosphere and is held Tuesday through Saturday offering two nightly shows.

There are other activities offered throughout the day. Check your Resort Guide for the latest schedule.
