Hi Moms panel! We purchased transfers from our hotel to Port Canaveral. When registering, it wouldn't let me pick a boarding time because of this. When will we be informed about our times to board the ship or how the transfer works? Thank you!

    Welcome aboard, Suzanne!

My family and I always take advantage of the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfers when we set sail with Disney, no matter from which home port we're cruising. They're even more convenient in Orlando for guests who stay at a Walt Disney World Resort the night before heading out to sea with Disney Cruise Line in Port Canaveral!

The night prior to your cruise, you'll receive a note in your Disney resort room letting you know the exact time of your motorcoach pick up as well as the checked luggage pick up time. Normally, our checked cruise-tagged luggage has been picked up from our resort room (whether or not we're in the room) about 8:00 a.m. We just keep day bags with us to continue to enjoy the resort that morning and have a leisurely breakfast. Since guests set sail from all different Disney resorts, it's not until the night before that they can set the exact pick up time for you. But, traditionally, it's somewhere between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. No need to worry about when you'll arrive at the ship for a specific Port Arrival Time as other guests need to choose during online check-in. Since Disney is handling all your transportation, they'll know when you'll be there and will happily greet you upon arrival at the port to check in!

Have such fun as you count down to your sail date, Suzanne!
