Hi Panel, We purchased 10 day mywph non exper tickets for our Aug. trip to Disney, now thinking of also taking a Disney trip in Nov. and upgrading to annual passes. How do we go about this and what is the cost to updgrade? Thanks for your help! :o)

    Hi Kerry!
If you are traveling to Walt Disney World twice in one year for more than 10 days total, then an Annual Pass will be the best economical deal for you. Upgrading to an Annual Pass is really easy to do! I did it to my 9 day Magic Your Way Ticket on my trip to Walt Disney World in August of 2009.

    1. Take your 10 day Magic Your Way Tickets to a Guest Services Window at any of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks (Guest Services is near the ticket windows) or Guest Services at Downtown Disney near Disney Quest. It is best to do this upgrade first thing on your trip before you go into any Park. In your case, you should upgrade to an Annual Pass in August instead of waiting until November.
    2. Do not use your Magic Your Way Ticket (do not enter a Park) before you upgrade this ticket to an Annual Pass. When you upgrade, the price of your Magic Your Way Ticket will be credited to the cost of your new Annual Pass.
    3. Tell the Cast Member at Guest Services that you want to upgrade to an Annual Pass and give him or her your 10 Day Magic Your Way Tickets (you must have identification such as a driver's license with you for each person of legal age). The price of your Magic Your Way Ticket will be credited toward the cost of your Annual Pass. For example if your 10 day Magic Your Way Tickets are worth $350 and an Annual Pass is $600, then you would have to pay $250 more per ticket to receive an Annual Pass (note my example numbers for ticket cost are not the real prices of these two types of tickets, but are just for an example)

One other thing to keep in mind is that your new Annual Passes will be a separate paper ticket and will not be attached to your room key (your Key to the World) so you will have to remember to take both your room key and your Annual Passes with you to the Parks.

I hope that you have a magical time using your Annual Pass at Walt Disney World!
    Keep Dreaming Big!
