Hi panel!! Planning a visit to WDW 11/18-11/23/2010, was wondering if the parks will already be decorated for Christmas & would we be able to attend MVMCP during these dates? Also, how are the crowds the week of Thanksgiving? Thanks so much!

    Hi Tonya!

Yes the parks will be decorated for Christmas as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party will be underway! Exact dates for the party for 2010 will not be available until late spring but this year the party ran on select nights from November 10 to December 18.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party is a special event not to be missed.  My family and I have attended the party twice and just love how it gets us into the holiday spirit!  Disney puts out a special parade, fireworks and you will even meet Santa!  All the characters make appearances wearing special holiday costumes for photos and autographs.  There are even special spots throughout the park where you can indulge in free hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies.  Only a limited amount of tickets are sold for each night so you can enjoy your favourite rides without long lines!

The week of Thanksgiving does tend to be a bit busier in the parks as schools are out for the holiday, but just make sure you take advantage of the fast passes for your favourite rides and you won't have a problem.

Have a wonderful time and enjoy the Christmas party!!
