Hello Mom's Panel!! We are planning our first ever WDW trip in Sept.2011. For the child activity centers, some say ages 3-12 and others say ages 4-12. We have a 3yr old and will be staying at Beach and Yacht Club.

Hi Jacqueline! You'll be happy to know that the minimum age for the Child Activity Centers used to be 4, but was lowered to 3.  Your little one is old enough to check in to the Sandcastle Club at the Yacht and Beach Club resorts, or any of the other Child Activity Centers at Disney World. Children, however, must be potty-trained to attend.

The centers are generally open from 4:30 p.m. to midnight. The hourly rate includes dinner along with games and activities, and there's a two-hour minimum.  You can find out more information or reserve a spot by calling 407-939-3463. My own children, along with my young niece and nephew,  tried the Sandcastle Club last spring and they all really enjoyed it.

Hope this helps! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
