Hi Panel! We have one complimentary theme park ticket. We always buy a vacation package and leave the ticket sitting home unused. Can we trade the theme park ticket for a water park ticket. Will be in WDW in June 2013. Thank you!

    Hi Julie,

I hope you like Walt Disney World in June. The parks really start to come alive with the summer activities and I hear this summer is going to monstrous!

You can take the ticket and trade it in for a water park ticket but you would be losing value. A single day theme park ticket is currently about $90. A one day water park ticket is about $50.

If you want a water park, you might do better purchasing the Water Park Fun & More option with your ticket package. This would allow you multiple days at a water park plus DisneyQuest and even golfing.

If there is no expiration on your ticket, I would hold it. You never know when you might need the extra day.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
