Hello Moms panel. I'm trying to plan a trip for a few days in March with me and my son. I was thinking March 10th thru the 13th. My questions is will it be really bust during that week. Also any recommendation for which parks to do we have annual passes.

Typically, March begins seeing folks on Spring Break heading to Disney World. I know that many schools here in Mississippi will have that week off. However, the biggest crowds typically don't pick up until closer to the weeks around Palm Sunday and Easter, and this year those weeks are later in April.

We have gone to Disney many times during the second week of March and found the crowds very manageable. Additionally, the new FastPass+ system will also allow you to plan your day. The good news for you is that you're planning your visit on weekdays versus the weekend--always a plus to avoid larger crowds.

If you're not staying on property, I recommend avoiding the parks that have Early Morning Magic Hours. My theory is that folks staying on property are generally drawn to them. Couple them with the folks who have no idea when EMH occur and are headed to that park anyway, and by late-morning, those parks are pretty full. Epcot has EMH on Tuesday; Animal Kingdom is on Wednesday; Magic Kingdom is on that Thursday.

With all this in mind, I'd recommend:

Monday: Animal Kingdom (you can cover it on your arrival day easily)
Tuesday: Magic Kingdom (so you have an entire day to cover it)
Wednesday: Epcot (a full day will allow you to cover much ground)
Thursday: Disney Hollywood Studios (you can cover much of it if you don't have a full day on Departure Day)

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
