Hello Mom's Panel...my husband and I are headed to WDW in just a few weeks, and I wanted to know if there are any good spots to watch the parades that are out of the way. We want to be able to see them, but would like to be out of the way of the crowds.

    Hi Jessica!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There are four parades routinely held these days in Walt Disney World.  Two are in the Magic Kingdom, one is in Disney's Hollywood Studios, and one is in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

It is fairly easy to watch the parade in Disney's Animal Kingdom because the parade route is very long and the park typically doesn't feel as crowded as the other parks.  If you want a really out of the way place to watch it, you should try getting a table on the second floor near the large window at the Table Service restaurant Yak and Yeti during the parade; it makes for a unique view.

In Disney's Hollywood Studios, I suggest staking out a spot between the Sorcerer's Hat and the Jedi Training Academy stage, over by Star Tours.  Hollywood Boulevard itself is usually packed with guests.

In the Magic Kingdom, I suggest watching the parade from either Liberty Square or Frontierland.  Most guests want to watch the parade from Main Street USA, making that a very crowded viewing location.  The least crowded in my opinion is usually Frontierland near the entrance to Pecos Bill.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
