Hi Panel. My husband and I are coming in June of 2015 for 21 days without kids. :) We are staying at the Coronado Springs. We are trying to find out if we get a water room if it is worth it. What do you think?

    Hi Teresa,

Wow! A 21 day Disney vacation without kids, you sure are in for a magical time! For that length of time, the price difference between a standard view and water view room will add up. Personally, I don't feel that it is worth it at a moderate resort. If you were staying in a Deluxe resort which have balconies, then I would say that you definitely should book water view. However, at the Coronado Springs (and all moderate resorts), your only view of the water will be out your window. I don't think you'll be spending a great deal of time standing and staring out your window. Again, if you were in a Deluxe resort and you had a balcony, you might find the time to sit and relax and enjoy the view outside. Additionally, at the Coronado Springs, a "Water View" room could end up being the quiet pool which is quite a distance from the lobby, main pool and bus stops.

I do suggest that you put in a request for Casitas 1 so that you will be close to the main building and the first bus stop or Cabana 9 to be close to the main pool. Requests are never guaranteed, but Disney doesn't do their best to honor them based on availability.

Wishing you a wonderfully relaxing and fun filled vacation with your husband. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
