This panel is great! Thks for all you do to help make The Magic even better. I heard that Disney resort guests can make character dining reservations 190 days in advance instead of the normal 180 days. Is this true? Thanks in advance for your response.

    Hi Kim,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and Thank You for your kind words.  We absolutely love helping guests plan magical vacations!  This is a great question.  One of the many perks of staying on Walt Disney World Property is that guests are able to make their Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance for up to 10 days.  On your 180th day prior to arrival you are able to make dining reservations for your vacation.  Ultimately, if you are staying 10 days, you will be making Advanced Dining Reservations 190 days in advance because you can start making your Advanced Dining Reservation ten days before that actual day.

Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort will have to make their Advanced Dining Reservations on a daily basis as each day reaches the 180 day mark.  I find that being able to make reservations for the length of our stay much easier, as I often forget to go day by day to make my reservations, however if I can do all my reservations all at once I have the peace of mind my itinerary is complete.

I hope that clarifies things Kim.  Please let us know if we can be of further assistance, we would love to hear from you again!
