Hi Mom's Panel. My friend and I are travelling to Disney next month and will be paying separately for most things. Will this be a problem if my card is on the reservation and we want to have separate checks at meals? Thanks so much!

Hello Kate.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds like you are going to have so much fun with your friend at Walt Disney World.  I have done a few friend only trips too and I always have a blast.  It will be no trouble paying for your meals separately when you dine at Walt Disney World restaurants.  Simply tell your server that you would like separate checks and it's really as easy as that.  The credit card they have on file is actually just a place holder and does not get charged unless you are a no show for the restaurant.  That means you can pay by cash or a different credit card, if you would like, and it wouldn't matter.  To make things simple, when you check in, you can also link your credit card to your MagicBand and you friend can link their credit card to their MagicBand and pay separately that way as well.

I hope this helps.  Have a great vacation.
