Hi panel! My family is traveling to DL this Christmas! Does DL do the candlelight processional like they do at WDW? We went last year at WDW on Christmas Eve and would like to do again! Do you have any other recom. For things we should do? Thank You!

    Hi there Sara,

I am so excited to hear that you'll be visiting the West Coast this Holiday Season! Disneyland will be all a dazzle by the time you arrive with beautiful decorations, special parades, and spectacular Christmas fireworks displays.  The Candlelight Processional does take place at Disneyland, but it works differently than what you're used to at WDW.

Last year, the show was only open to invited guests and select Annual Passholders who were chosen through a lottery.  The show is held outdoors in Disneyland Park, so bystanders could hear and see the show from along Main Street USA.  This year's dates have not been announced so it is unclear as to how the process will occur this year.  And at this point, I am unable to say whether it will be open to the public or reserved for passholders again this year!

Keep an eye on the official Disney Parks Blog for more Candlelight Processional updates as they unfold!
