Hello Moms Panel! We're counting the days to our Christmas Fantasy Cruise and would like to know the average temperatures on the ship deck (does it get windy?) and in the different ports (Cuzumel, Costa Maya, CC and GC) Thanks!

Welcome back, Claudia! Can you believe it is almost November? That means that it is only a couple months now until you set sail for your magical Christmas cruise with Disney Cruise Line!

Coming from Colorado, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the warm weather you'll most likely encounter during your cruise. Cozumel, Costa Maya, Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay have average temperatures in late December in the mid 70's to mid 80's. Won't that be a welcome change from the snow covered streets you'll be leaving behind in Colorado?

That being said, do plan to check the weather about a week before you set sail to get a more accurate forecast. And definitely plan to bring a sweater or light jacket for chillier nights and those breezy days at sea. Evenings cool down and when you're up on deck on sea days and any evening, you'll find that a sweater or jacket will serve you well. If worse comes to worse and you feel too chilly on deck, usually you can find blankets available in the deck boxes or even towels to drape over your legs if you still want to sit out on deck to enjoy the scenery.

I hope that helps, Claudia. Stop back again before you set sail if you have any other questions! I'm happy to help!
