Hello Panel From Canada: Staying at Contemporary Grden View/Grden Wing Next Week. Is ground floor more appealing or the 2nd or 3rd floor room? Can I request one? Any advantages to either? Doing Online Checkin Soon. Many Thanks, Beatriz

Hello again, Beatriz! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so happy that your stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort is almost here! I know you have been busy planning all of the details of this trip and your hard work is about to pay off.

One difference I have noticed between ground floor rooms and upper level rooms is often the balconies from the ground floor rooms are more "patio" style and don't usually have a railing around the area. The upper floors have balconies with the railing. For someone like me, I like to have the railing to act as a barrier to keep my kiddos contained if we decide to have the door to the balcony open. This may not be a concern for you, but it is something to keep in mind.

If you do a search for "Disney's Contemporary Resort Room Finder" on the internet, you should have some websites that come up that offer the different views from each room area. This can be helpful when requesting rooms, so you know what you will be looking at during your stay. I usually don't request a certain area, though, and have always had a lovely view!

Enjoy your upcoming trip, Beatriz! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
