Hi Panel, we have just booked our third family vacation to WDW for 02/2014. We decided to try AOA this time. I notice that the current "free dining" promotion does not include guests who stay at AOA. Is AOA usually excluded from this special offe

    Crystal,

You will find that promotions vary often on both what is offered, but also where. My guess is that the Art of Animation is so amazingly popular as Walt Disney World's newest resort that they are having no problem filling it up throughout the year. So why offer free dining when they are already selling out?

I would imagine many years from now, when the newness of the resort wears off and other comparable accommodations become available, they may start adding this resort as an option for these kinds of promotions. But for the time being I am expecting that since they are able to fill up this hotel they won't be inclined to offer discounts like free dining.

If I were in your shoes I would stick with my Art of Animation reservation. I think you will find it is a very unique and entertaining resort!

    Have a magical vacation!
