    Dawn from MO Asked

Hi Panel! We are booked at the ASMo in July. Our budget doesn't allow a whole week at a Deluxe, but we would like to splurge one night at the Beach Club or Carribean. Do you know if it would be possible to move for our last night and how? Thanks! Dawn

Hi, Dawn!  If  you need to change your reservation, contact 407-W-DISNEY and ask to modify a resort reservation.  (If you went through a travel agent, contact your agent directly.)

If you decide NOT to change your reservation and stay at All-Star Movies for the duration, you can still enjoy the Beach Club!   My family likes to head over to that area in the evenings after a day in Epcot.  We either get ice cream at Beaches and Cream (they have amazing burgers, too!) or enjoy a wonderful dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse located in the Yacht Club (next door to Beach Club.)  My kids enjoy playing on the sandy beach while we watch for firework sightings from Epcot or Hollywood Studios.   Then, we like to take a walk around the beautiful Boardwalk and enjoy all the lights!  (Unfortunately, you cannot use the pool at the Beach Club without being a registered guest!)

It is totally up to you if you would like to change hotels for the one night, but you can still enjoy the atmosphere, the restaurants, and the views without going through the trouble of changing resorts.  Good Luck with whatever you decide.
