This panel is a blessing in planning a WDW trip!! Have res @ POFQ 11/28-12/4, me, DH & DS20. DS wants to bring a friend. I think POFQ room will be tight. Should we do ASMu suite or 2 rooms at POP? Don't want to run into Pop Warner crowds. Suggestions?

    Doreen:

Forget the tightness, if I were in your shoes, I'd be worried about my privacy if my son were bringing a friend...

The suite offers two bathrooms, a kitchenette and a private bedroom, but if your son and his friend are tall, the pull-out sofa and chair on which they would be sleeping may not be their best accommodations. Two rooms at Pop Century would be my vote so everyone gets a comfortable bed and plenty of bathroom privacy.

I've been to Disney for the past two years over Pop Warner weekend and barely noticed the uptick in the crowd. Usually, All-Star Sports resort gets a majority of the reservations for this group, so Pop Century would be a solid choice. Additionally, your dates are the weekdays preceding this group's usual weekend arrival, so I think the crowd will have little affect on your stay.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
