This Panel is the best thing ever! Planning my first trip to WDW, family of 4 (Two girls 1 1/2 and 5)... So excited! Trying to decide on when to visit WDW. Our options are from 09/20-26/2011 or 12/01-07/2011. Wich one will have less crowds & nicer weat

    Hi Delia,

Thank you for your kind words about the Moms Panel!

With regard to your question, I have good news.  Either of the time frames you suggest should be great regarding crowds.  Traditionally late September and early December have lower than average attendance rates.  That means shorter lines for your family no matter which you choose!  Nice!

If your daughters like to swim and enjoy water-related attractions, I would choose the September travel dates.  Early December can be too brisk to swim even though the resort pools are heated.  If, however, you want to see the Disney resorts dressed up in their finest holiday decorations, you can't beat early December.  That would be my choice.  I was there last December and the trip was pure magic from beginning to end.  You could also take your daughters to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party if you go in early December.

Good luck to you as you plan your Disney vacation.  Let us know if we can assist you with any additional questions.
