This panel is amazing. We wil lbe coming to disney in Sept. with our 2 boys. They are 7 and 2 1/2 & we have reserv for the Aloha Show. I am hearing not great things. Do you recommend us doing the hoop de doo review instead?

    Hi Ronald:

The Spirit of Aloha is great, and I remember being mesmerized at a similar show they had at the Polynesian Resort that I saw as a six year old. For my family, which includes 5 year old and 4 year old boys, the most fun dinner event is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Hoop-Dee-Doo is a wonderful family experience. Hoop-Dee-Doo is one of Disney World's longest running dinner shows, and it's easy to understand why. The show is entertaining, the cast is talented, the atmosphere is festive, the jokes are plentiful (and corny), and the food is finger-licking tasty.

Hoop-Dee-Doo is a vaudeville-style dinner show with a country twist. Dinner is served family style and includes favorites like fried chicken, smoked bbq pork ribs, fresh corn bread, strawberry shortcake and the most delicious country-style baked beans I have ever tasted. The food and most drinks are all-you-can-consume, so you'll leave satisfied.

As you enjoy the food, the extraordinary Hoop-Dee-Doo cast puts on a show full of dancing, singing, and comedy. Hoop-Dee-Doo is very interactive and the cast frequently takes the show from the stage and into the audience to sing songs and engage the guests. Towards the end of the performance, a handful of lucky audience members are asked to join the show for the grand finale.

Either pick is great, but my favorite is Hoop-Dee-Doo.
