Do any of the PAL Mickey sensors still work through out the parks or have they all been removed? I can’t imagine a trip with out my little friend giggling.

    Hi Kimberly!
Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Pal Mickey, as you already know, was an awesome, battery-operated, interactive "tour guide" plush toy created in 2003. He was almost like the precursor to today's MagicBand and My Disney Experience app technology. Super advanced stuff!
He would come alive through several infrared sensors located throughout the theme parks of Walt Disney World, and would provide tips and stories and games. Alas, like many good things, Pal Mickey came to an end around 2008 and the infrastructure to support his working was disassembled in 2014. Therefore, although you can certainly bring Mickey along on your next adventure, he may be a bit on the quiet side.

I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!!
