We have a package arriving on 12/11 but are not planning to purchase tickets to the Christmas party. Would you recommend visiting other parks on the days of the party?

    Hi Dale,

I see your vacation is just around the corner, during Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Awesome!

Mickey and his friends celebrate the season in an awesome party in Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, offered on select nights. Although the event starts at 7:00 p.m., many Guests will arrive a bit earlier, so the Magic Kingdom may feel a bit more crowded than usual in the late afternoon. On the other hand, many of those Guests would leave early to get prepared for the party, so it's possible than the morning and early afternoon may not be that busy.

A must for my family is the Park Hopper Option for Theme Park Tickets. You can visit more than one Theme Park on the same day, without using an extra admission. So I would visit Magic Kingdom in the morning, and then head out to a different Theme Park in the afternoon. If you do not have this option, you may add it at any time by visiting Guest Relations at the entrance of any of the four Theme Parks.

One last tip: make sure you download My Disney Experience mobile app, which is a great way to keep track of attraction wait times in real time. And you can also adjust your FastPass+ reservations on the fly. Happy Holidays!
