    Karolyn from NY Asked

What should I pack for our December vacation to Disney? Shorts? Sweat shirts? Jeans?

Hi Karolyn! The easy answer is All of the Above. Of course, I'm an over-packer who usually takes everything but the kitchen sink when I travel, but in my experience, you need to be prepared for a wide variety of temperatures at Disney in December. December temperatures at Disney World average in the low 70s during the day and the low 50s at night, but I've found that it can be much colder or much warmer than those averages. For that reason, I'd recommend you plan to dress in layers. You're more likely to need long pants than shorts, and you'll definitely want to bring a jacket and a sweater or two. Plan to wear short sleeves under a sweatshirt or cardigan and a jacket so you can peel off the layers as the temperatures warm up.

A week or so before your trip you can type "Disney World" into the search box of a site like www.weather.com to get the exact forecast during your vacation. If you're lucky, your vacation will be during a week of warm and sunny days!
