Hi Brittany,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow! A family of fourteen is tough to accommodate at any time of year, but hopefully I can give you some helpful advice. Here are at least a few of your options as I see them. First, be willing to split up into smaller parties. This may mean that you will have to eat at two different restaurants but if a Table service meal is important to you, it may be one of the only ways you can do it. In the instance that you can get two reservations at the same restaurant, you might be able to split into smaller parties and have reservations that overlap. For example, you may be able to make a reservation for a party of eight at 5:00 p.m. and another for a party of six at 5:20 p.m. The incredibly helpful
Cast Members on the Dining Reservations line will be able to help you with what is available.
Second, keep trying! If you don't find a reservation today (or even next week), keep trying. Crazy as it sounds, try several times a day if you can. People cancel their reservations all the time and you may be able to grab one of their cancellations. Disney now has a cancellation policy that charges a fee, so try even up to the day when you would like to dine to see if something has opened up.
Lastly (and I hate to even suggest this), see if there is a restaurant off site that appeals to you. Lake Buena Vista and its surrounding areas are home to many wonderful restaurants. You may be able to find a Christmas reservation that will allow your family to dine together.
Brittany, I hope this helps you find some dining reservations during this very busy time of year. While I'm here, I want to remind you to be sure to make your FastPass+ selections soon so you can ride your favorite attractions during your trip! Come back and see us if you have any additional questions.
Best Wishes,
Amy B.
