    Amber Asked

We will be in the Orlando area Feb 21-28th ( presidents week) and thinking about doing DW for a day. I know this is a VERY busy week in Disney World but what day( during the week) do you think would be slightly slower crowd wise??

    Hi, Amber!

Historically, Walt Disney World attendance, which sees a slight downturn after the holidays, begins to rise again after President's Day weekend, due in large part to the Spring Break schedules of many schools (from elementary to college!). While certainly not as busy as summer, the spring season at Disney does draw a variety of vacationers from all over.

I would recommend coming as far away from that weekend as possible, so towards the end of your time in Orlando. Consider visiting on Wednesday (February 22) or Thursday (February). These mid-week days tend not to be as busy during non-summer seasons, and might afford you the time you need to maximize your day.

Weather in Florida during this time is gorgeous. The rains haven't really started yet (that happens in June), and temperatures typically range from the mid-70s to the high-80s during the day, and the 60s in the evenings.

While all of the regular Magic Kingdom parades and shows will be in full swing during your visit (weather permitting), there are no special hard-ticket events at the Magic Kingdom during April. On the up side, the Park will have normal operating hours and won't see early closures!

    Have a great time!

    See you later, celebrator!
