Hi! We will be in Orlando from April 8-19, 2012. I have a 6 yr old and an 8 yr old daughter. We have been to Disney once before but I'm not sure where to start planning this trip. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi there, Jody!

Your first and best planning tip, is, in my opinion, to create for yourself a list in priority order of "must do," "must see," "must eat," and "must meet". In other words, what rides are critical for your traveling party? What parades/shows/nighttime spectaculars? Are there restaurants or food items you'd like to try? and what character experiences would you like to have -- or would you like your children to have?

You'll likely find that some Parks get more "face time" on your list than others. This will help you determine the best way to disperse your tickets - how many days should you spend at the Magic Kingdom, at Epcot, etc.

If you'd like, drop me a line with some of your traveling party favorites: foods, characters, etc., I'd be delighted to help you plan a more specific itinerary.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
