    When ordering magic bands I can select a special band that costs more. I want a specific one but there is nothing for my son just yet. They keep adding new ones. If I select it is it guaranteed I get it even if I don’t check out? Will it hold in my cart?

    Hi Monica!

    Thanks for sending your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Great question!  If you and your son are on the same confirmation or reservation, you would have to make your MagicBand selections at the same time. Adding a premium or character MagicBand to the cart or selection does not guarantee that you will be able to order it. When you are ready to place the order, if the MagicBand you selected is not available, it will prompt you to select another color or design. I know first hand how tricky this can be, especially if you are looking for a particular design. I will be traveling with my family of five in a few weeks and have been procrastinating on selecting MagicBands because I keep checking to see what new designs pop up! Keep in mind that MagicBands are added and replenished on the website as they become available. Hope this helps!
