Hi Stacey and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing us your question about
Florida Resident theme park tickets!
While you may not have a government issued Florida ID, there are lots of other ways to show
Proof of Florida Residency. A utility bill (electricity, water, cable) listing your name and Florida address can be used to prove your residency. Even a car insurance card or bill can be proper documentation.
I have first-hand experience with this. My husband left his wallet at our hotel one visit, and the only way he was able to activate his Florida Resident ticket was with our car insurance card (that was in my wallet), which listed his name and our Florida address on it.
With that said, whether you purchase your Florida Resident tickets online, at a popular retail store or at the ticket window, you will have to show Proof of Florida Residency to be able to activate and use your ticket.
When you do arrive to the most magical place on earth, visit a theme park ticket window and a Cast Member will be happy to activate your ticket for you.
Stacey, did you know that if you purchase your Florida Resident ticket online, you can make
FastPass+ selections 30 days before your planned visit, even if you haven't activated your ticket? Just make sure to
link your ticket your My Disney Experience account.
I hope this information is helpful to you as you’re planning your visit. Feel free to come back to see us anytime!
