How come there is an option to reserve a breakfast seat at 8:05 am at Be Our Guest, on a date that the park opens at 9:00 am. I wasn't sure if I should go ahead and select that time.

    Hi Lea!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of my family's favorite breakfasts to enjoy during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. The restaurant generally opens for breakfast at 8:00 a.m., regardless of the opening time of Magic Kingdom. This means that if you are fortunate enough to get a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant at 8:05 a.m. and Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m., you will be able to enter the theme park before Guests without breakfast reservations. In other words, I think you should definitely book that reservation!

When you get to Magic Kingdom, simply head to the left side of the entrance, where Cast Members will be admitting Guests who have early breakfast reservations. I recommend arriving at the Magic Kingdom entrance 20-30 minutes prior to your reservation to allow yourself plenty of time to get to your reservation. There is absolutely nothing like a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. first thing in the morning when the park is empty and you can get the most incredible pictures in front of Cinderella Castle during your walk. In fact, there are generally Disney PhotoPass Photographers available to take your picture on your way to breakfast! Once you are finished with breakfast, you will be able to start your day in Magic Kingdom in the back of the theme park, allowing your family to be one of the first in line to enjoy the most popular attractions. We like to enjoy things from our "must-do" list that we don't have FastPass+ reservations for, as the queues are generally very short right when the park opens!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
